Mechanical maintenance engineer


  • Solving and commissioning faults independently and complete electrical installations on inland vessels, including:
    • PLC systems
    • Relay circuits
    • Lighting (home automation systems)
    • Frequency inverters
    • Pumps
    • Nautical installations
    • Battery chargers / inverters
    • Watertight doors
    • (Emergency) generators
    • bow thrusters
    • Sun tents
    • Tank measurement systems
    • Issuing written reports and measurement reports of the aforementioned activities
  • (Re)construction and connection of panels
  • Connecting nautical equipment
  • Solving incidental malfunctions in homes and utility buildings

Your profile:

  • You have completed a MBO Electrical Engineering course level 3 or equivalent
  • You have at least 3 years of work experience (on inland vessels is an advantage)
  • You are willing to travel and work (for short periods) abroad
  • You have a flexible attitude, are stress resistant and can work independently
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, German is an advantage
