Van Tiem Elektro, with it’s origins in Beneden-Leeuwen, has been a family business for over 60 years already.

Van Tiem en Romijnders opened its doors in 1955. A shop for major appliances, lighting, radio and TV. After a number of years, Al van Tiem (1st generation) decided to continue independently and changed the name to Van Tiem Electro.

His son Wim (2nd generation) joined the company and changed its direction. The store was closed and the company transformed into an electrical installation company active in residential construction and the utility sector. Partly thanks to the location of the company, between the rivers Maas and Waal, the shipping industry could not be left out. The company continued to grow and moved to its current premises in Wamel in 2000, where the 3rd generation was introduced. Al, named after his grandfather, took over the helm and developed Van Tiem Elektro into the company as it is now. By using the technology of the future, based on the science, expertise and craftsmanship from the past, we keep expanding. Active in the shipping industry, yacht construction, industry, utility sector and residential construction in the Netherlands and abroad.
